Rolling on the rails: Stop #1 - St Paul, MN

All is well aboard the Empire Builder. We are now at a service stop in St. Paul. We arrived here about 40 minutes early, we depart again at 11:15PM.

The train is about half full. Scored a seat near one of the few power outlets, there are about three of us sharing one plug and extension cords running the length of the front of our coach car.

Had dinner on board tonight, lamb shank and vanilla ice cream for desert. It was very good as always.

I have two seats to myself, will sleep here tonight and check into an onboard upgrade to a sleeper tomorrow.

Thanks to Amy M. for the ride to the station in Milwaukee this afternoon!

WiFi courtesy the 'fred' SSID nearest the station up here. Thank you Fred.
